Complex Aortic & Endovascular Surgery

Thoracic Aorta & Aortic Arch

Thoracic Branched Endoprosthesis (TBE)

A branched stent-graft for total endovascular arch repair.

Overview

What it is

The TBE is a branched stent-graft that treats arch aneurysms from the ascending aorta (zone 0) through zone 3, with built-in branches to the arteries supplying the brain and arms. It is a minimally invasive option for selected high-risk patients who might not tolerate open arch surgery.

When it’s recommended

  • Arch aneurysm or dissection in a high-risk patient
  • Anatomy suited to a branched arch device
  • Avoidance of open arch reconstruction when possible

How it’s performed

Every plan is individualized and reviewed by our multidisciplinary aortic team.

Detailed arch imaging and device planning

The branched graft is delivered endovascularly

Branches are deployed into the brain and arm arteries

Flow and seal are confirmed

Recovery

Recovery & follow-up

A minimally invasive recovery for arch disease; because durability and stroke risk require monitoring, regular follow-up imaging is essential.
