Preparing for your visit

  • Bring any prior CT, MRI, or ultrasound of your aorta — on disc or via your patient portal.
  • Bring a current list of medications and allergies, including blood thinners.
  • Write down your questions and bring a family member or caregiver if you can.
  • Allow extra time — same-day imaging is needed in some cases.

Frequently asked questions

Will I need open surgery or a minimally invasive procedure?

It depends on your anatomy, age, and overall health. Many complex aneurysms can be treated with fenestrated-branched stent-grafts (FB-EVAR), while some are best served by durable open repair. Your plan is individualized after dedicated imaging.

How should I prepare for my first visit?

Bring prior imaging, a medication list, and your questions — see the checklist above.

What follow-up is required after a stent-graft?

Lifelong surveillance imaging confirms the repair continues to work. We coordinate a structured schedule with you and your referring physician.
